Ava's 4 Month Report

Ava had her 4 month check-up yesterday and she's doing well. (She turned 4 months on Sunday). She weighs 10 lbs 6 oz now and is 23 inches long. She's in the 3rd percentile for weight and 55th percentile for height. Dr. said preemies usually take about a year to catch up developmentally, but she's already closing the gap. He also said we shouldn't try to get her to sleep through the night quite yet, because her weight is so low (she still needs that extra feeding).
Here's her 4-month birthday picture.

Hey lady! Ava is so precious! Can't believe she is already sleeping through the night, you are a luck girl. Beckam still gets up for a 4m feeding. Let's get together soon!

When Emma was 6 months I started giving her formula for her night time feeding. It is thicker so it sticks to them longer. That way they gain weight and you sleep more! I would still nurse during the day so she would get antibodies. That might help a little :)
